Nathan and his wife Jane counsel together and also lead marriage retreats nationally and internationally. Nathan and Jane were married in 1982 and have two sons. They consistently accept the invitation to meet people in their darkest valleys and walk with them through that difficult place to help them find healing on the other side. A graduate of Berry College in Rome, Georgia, “Sam” received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology Degree in 1996. She worked in a variety of settings that lead her to join the Battlefield Team in the Spring of 2007. Her husband, Adam, has also been actively involved with Battlefield over the years. Adam Nash

Adam Nash, Christian Life Coach, has been serving Battlefield Ministries for many years. He and his wife, Samantha, benefited from the solid, biblical counsel they received in Pre-marital counseling with Battlefield nearly 20 years ago. Heather Medley

Heather Medley joined Battlefield Ministries in 2012. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board Certified Coach. Dana Sutton

Dana Sutton

Dana Sutton joined the Battlefield team in 2011. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Christian Counseling from Boyce College and her Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. Dana is thrilled to be working with Battlefield Ministries. Her desire is to see marriages and women find healing through Christ and to restore their hearts and relationships. Tim Carroll

Tim Carroll comes to Battlefield Ministries with over 25 years of pastoral care experience working with individuals, couples, families and groups. With a focus on marriage, couples and family counseling, he has a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University and is currently pursuing licensure as both a Licensed Professional Counselor and Marriage and Family Therapist. Jenny Ackerman, LPC

Jenny Ackerman, LPC

“Jenny” received her BA degree in art and a master’s degree in educational psychology from Baylor University in Waco, TX. She and her family moved to Rome in the summer of 2014 and she is excited to join the Battlefield team! She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in both Georgia and Texas. Jenny has experience counseling children, adolescents, women of all ages and their families dealing with various issues such as: ADD/ADHD, adjustment issues, anxiety, depression, developmental disorders, divorce and emotional disorders. Ashlyn Burns, Therapist

Ashlyn Burns, Therapist

Ashlyn joined the Battlefield team in May of 2017. She completed her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy with a certificate in Trauma Counseling through Richmont Graduate University in May 2017, and is working several days each week as a counselor in the Cartersville office.

Chris and Angie Wheelus have been married for over 28 years and enjoy their ever growing family of 4 children, son in law, daughter in law, and 4 grandchildren.
