With deep heart-felt passion, Nathan co-founded Battlefield Ministries, Inc. in 1996 with his wife, Jane. He is Licensed Professional Counselor, a graduate of Samford University, and received his Master’s Degree in Community Counseling from Georgia State University. Nathan has been professionally engaged in a helping role in people’s lives since 1984. He is also an accomplished speaker and facilitator.
Nathan and his wife Jane counsel together and also lead marriage retreats nationally and internationally. Nathan and Jane were married in 1982 and have two sons. They consistently accept the invitation to meet people in their darkest valleys and walk with them through that difficult place to help them find healing on the other side. They regularly meet with missionaries both Stateside and on foreign soil and train them on how to facilitate this process. Nathan and Jane are adjunct faculty at WinShape Marriage Retreat and count it a joy to come along any who desire to explore what helps and what hinders the most significant relationship in their life apart from Jesus Christ… their spouse.
Nathan meets with clients who need help addressing interpersonal issues; sexual concerns; family dynamics; personal development and couple care. As CEO of Battlefield Ministries, Inc. his availability is often limited. He supervises the other members of the counseling team and together with his admin help, Samantha Nash, can recommend a suitable counselor on the growing team.
