Battlefield Ministries, Inc. offers Christ-centered, Biblically-based counseling.  We have an office in Rome, Georgia that operates by appointment.  We are open to whomever God brings to our office; however, we have a particular vision to foster, enable and encourage the local church by being an available resource to Christian couples, families and individuals.

Areas of focus:  Marriage & Family Counseling is the heart of Battlefield Ministries, Inc.  We also meet with individuals seeking help for anxiety, depression, communication, divorce or affair recovery, trauma, eating disorders, school or workplace stress, grief, sexual issues, and self-esteem.

Looking for Pre-marital counseling?

We offer counseling for those preparing for marriage.  Prior to the wedding, we recommend at least four sessions to cover the topics of 1) Who you are (Your Story, Temperaments, Hopes/expectations, Family of Origin); 2) Finance and Communication; 3) Intimacy, God’s Design; 4) The Covenant of Marriage.  Our counselors are available for follow-up during the first year of marriage, and recommend checking in at intervals during the first 12 months of marriage.

Fees: Counseling fees are based on the therapist’s level of license and the client’s annual household income level.  The sliding fee scale used to determine fees ranges from $160 per 50-minute hour to $75 per 50-minute hour.  Additional fee reduction may be available for those in financial need who are willing to complete an application to disclose financial circumstances, and approval is given by the therapist, manager and director.

Payment:  Cash, check, Visa/Mastercard/AmEx are accepted forms of payment.

Insurance:  We do not file insurance.  If you have a benefit that will cover professional counseling, we are happy to provide the receipt you would need for reimbursement.  Receipts are available upon request.

Cancellation policy:  If a client does not show up for a scheduled appointment or fails to cancel with at least 24-hours notice, a cancellation fee will be assessed.  Cancellation fees are 50% of the fee of the scheduled session based on the client’s hourly rate on our scale.
